accommodations
We will be staying in three different locations during this trip. Upon arrival we will be at Barracuda Hotels and Villas in Itacare in a private 4 bedroom villa. At Spirit Vine, we will be in bungalows, and after Spirit Vine, we will stay at a 4 bedroom villa outside of Itacare at Txai Resort.
The pre and post accommodations are very nice and quite luxurious for the area. Both resorts are gated, private and very beautiful. We will have private chefs at both locations to prepare meals.
The bungalows at Spirit Vine all have panoramic views to the jungle and have private decks with hammock, 2 single beds with mosquito nets (common for the area), private bathrooms with hot showers, and daily cleaning service. While much more simple and rustic than the villas, they are quite lovely and comfortable. Not all rooms have A/C, so if this is a must, it should be requested. I have stayed in both and personally preferred open windows and a fan, but this is of course a personal preference as the jungle is warm.
Each journeyer can choose to either stay in a double occupancy room (two beds) for all three accommodations, their own room for all three accommodations, or a hybrid of their own room while at the villas and their own room while at Spirit Vine. The various pricing options are reflected on the booking page.
